Real Estate Photography: Shooting with a 17-35mm lens and it just doesnt feel wide enough |
Shooting with a 17-35mm lens and it just doesnt feel wide enough Posted: 30 Aug 2020 09:29 AM PDT Hey guys I'm currently working on a portfolio at the moment, and yesterday was my first practice shoot. It was a friends house and i just practiced with settings, composition and what not. The photos are pretty meh at best i feel like. They arent shit but i dont think they are useable for a portfolio. One reason im worried is because my lens is not wide enough. I am shooting with a 17-35mm canon lens on a Canon 6D Mark II. I thought keeping it at 17 would be wide enough but im just not able to capture a lot of the spaces i was in and a lot of the photos look kind of awkward. I'll attach a few so you can judge for yourself. (I also have to work on my HDR skills so if anyone has any tips on making these look less crappy that would be appreciated as well !)
