Posted: 01 Nov 2020 06:54 AM PST My buyers and I put in a GREAT offer on a home but ultimately lost out. According to the listing agent, we were the runner up. Listing agent said she would contact me ASAP if the deal her client accepted fell through. I've been told and have seen that the average contingency period for inspection is 7 days (that's what my buyers and I asked for in our offer as well). This house has been "contingent on inspection" going on 12 days now. My buyer absolutely LOVES this home and has asked me to reach out to the listing agent and inquire how the deal is going since it's had the same status for so long. My question is, what's the etiquette here? Can I/am I allowed to ask the listing agent how the current deal is going and if there's a chance my buyer and I will get a shot at it? I don't want to be pesky or cross any boundaries, but at the same time I'd like to make client happy as well. I'm a new agent btw and this is my first buyer client/buyer transaction that I lost [link] [comments] |

Posted: 01 Nov 2020 06:03 AM PST Anybody else having major issues with BrightMLS today and this past week? I keep having to clear my cache, cookies, etc and sometimes I can advance and other times I can't even login. ARGH!! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 Oct 2020 07:34 PM PDT What benefit does a buyer have using redfin vs a full service brokerage? I can somewhat understand sellers assuming they're main goal is to not pay a commission, but I'm not seeing the buyer benefit. Had a woman come to an open house today solo. It sounded like they just give hey a list and send her to go look. Thoughts? I'm still pretty new to RE. [link] [comments] |
Advice for finding a sponsored agent Posted: 31 Oct 2020 08:19 PM PDT Hello all! I'll soon be a licensed agent in Georgia. What is some good advice to finding the best sponsored agent? Thanks in advance [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 Oct 2020 05:50 PM PDT I am a Realtor, but I got a solicitation from a realty company as a homeowner. The agent said he'd give me $800 today, for an exclusive listing on my home if I sell any time in the future. So I told him I was a realtor myself and asked him how they could do that. He said the contract lasts 40 years. And he's just cold calling and apologized for contacting me. He was looking for homeowners. My question is, have any of you encountered this before? Is it a known scam? [link] [comments] |
Indoor shoes for plantar fasciitis? Posted: 31 Oct 2020 07:23 PM PDT Hi everyone, I'm a realtor who is dealing with plantar fasciitis and was wondering what you might suggest for an indoor shoe to wear? I do a lot of showings without my outdoor shoes on for cleanliness and respect to my clients, but my feet ache after doing showings. What kind of footwear would you suggest that gives my feet support but don't look too wonky? Or what other solutions am I not thinking of? Booties is an option yes but sometimes it may be wet outside. [link] [comments] |
