| Nikon D3500 too basic for real estate? Drone recommendations? Posted: 01 Mar 2020 04:24 PM PST Just as the title says, I currently have a D3500 which I know is fairly basic and was wondering if the quality would be noticeably lesser than other real estate photos. I plan on buying better equipment soon. Also, any recommendations on an affordable drone to purchase for videography? I apologize if this isn't the right place to ask, still learning. :) [link] [comments] |

This post is a great snapshot of the learning journey in real estate photography and videography. I really appreciate the honesty in reflecting on focus issues and camera limitations, as well as the openness to feedback—those details make the discussion genuinely helpful for others who are still developing their skills. The questions about aperture, gear choices, and drones feel very relatable, especially for photographers transitioning into professional real estate work. Conversations like this highlight how technique, experience, and thoughtful practice matter just as much as equipment, which is a perspective often emphasized by teams passionate about visual quality and storytelling, like the professionals behind real estate visual editing expertise.
