Anyone have experience getting licensed/prepared for the exam just through online courses? Would you recommend it?

Home sellers in Wisconsin have legal right to watch, record home showings

This is so different than the laws in my state. Does your state allow recording/eavesdropping?

I'm glad it sounds like this "right" doesn't extend to short term rentals!

Sitting for a Broker exam tomorrow

    Posted: 18 Mar 2020 10:09 AM PDT

I'm scheduled for an AMP/PSI exam tomorrow morning and there's nothing on their website about cancelling exams or rescheduling AND they're not answering calls or emails. To top it off, I just got a reminder text about the exam, time, etc. Nothing about cancellation.

Anyone know anything about AMP/PSI exam locations/scheduling, etc

Studying for CA Real Estate License Exam

Is it better to get through the 40 hours and go back and study hard using supplements, or study as you go?

Good careers/jobs/licensures to have in tandem with real estate brokers?

    Posted: 17 Mar 2020 06:00 PM PDT

As the title says, what are good licensures/occupations I could get that would work well with being a realtor? I've looked into becoming an appraiser but the requirements seem way more difficult than being a realtor so I've decided against it. However, what is some other ones that would be good? Especially looking for something that could make me a consistent income as well.

    Which brokerage should I choose?

    Posted: 17 Mar 2020 05:24 PM PDT

Hi realtors! I know that it is a million dollar question but now that I am close to getting licensed which one should I choose? What should I consider? I am in Canada by the way. Any advice will be much appreciated! Thanks.

Who pays for the professinal photograher?

    Posted: 17 Mar 2020 05:15 PM PDT

    Hello realtors!!

I just had my first preview appointment with my FSBO first client ever!!! The house is great blah blah, under the sellers circumstance he needs help with selling his house. He payed someone to do professional photograh and they look great but the problem is he needs it advertised to a larger audience. My managing broker also does her own photos, but to be honest they are sub par. This is my first listing and I want to make sure my photos are great and professional! I will be even having a drone over head for an ariel shot as well as a quick video walk through the property.

Later I spoke to her and she said the seller will be reimburse me for the photos. I scratched my head thinking ...what? This is my job to advertise and market the property that is why I get the commission in the end.

What do realtors usually do? Pay photographers out of my own pocket or pay for the photopgraher and then ask the seller to reimburst them ?

Edit: Yes I know I mean to say professional in the title, my brain is thinking faster than my hands.
