Posted: 22 Jun 2020 07:04 AM PDT How did you guys focus in Real Estate School? I am doing it through a live webinar at home (thanks Miss Rona) and I am STRUGGLING to focus. I've tried moving around, standing, sitting, laying down, everything and I just can't focus. I understand a lot of the information but actually being engaged in the class is just not working. Any tips? How much of the class did you feel was actually on the test? [link] [comments]
Anyone have the jump on new lead sources, buyers or sellers? Posted: 22 Jun 2020 11:57 AM PDT Other than Zillow, Realtor, etc etc I'm curious if anyone's got a good source they wouldn't mind sharing. Two of my go-to's have been Zbuyer and CallTend. CallTend is baller and relatively cheap. Looking for something a little off the beaten path if anyone has some lead sources to share. [link] [comments]

What types of advertising has been most effective Posted: 22 Jun 2020 01:16 PM PDT New broker/ realtor here- what type of advertising has been the most effective do you? Also, what products ( pens, calendars, etc have you seen a good return with ? Before becoming a realtor, I threw away stuff that was mailed bc I saw it as junk. Pens are handy . Thanks [link] [comments]
| Property is under contract? NOW we're interested! Posted: 22 Jun 2020 08:58 AM PDT [rant] This isn't the first time that one of my buyers reached out about a property we identified several weeks ago that is exactly what they are looking for, only for them to be spurred into action by someone else placing a contract on it. | Any advice for newbies interviewing brokers? I have some question. Posted: 21 Jun 2020 01:19 PM PDT I'll be taking my course and getting my license soon. Any advice for newbies? Red flags to watch for? Questions to ask? Will my chances of scoring higher priced sales be higher getting with a broker in a more expensive part of town? What if I pick a broker and decide later to go with someone else, any repercussions to be worried about? Will different brokers have different expectations of me? Thanks!! Edit: woah! This is a lot of great info. Thanks!! I really appreciate everyone's responses. [link] [comments] |

Why are LAs like this? Is it about power? Posted: 21 Jun 2020 05:02 PM PDT I have an all cash investor. We have seven closings so far and I'm writing new offers every day. Some Listing Agents feel it's their duty to their seller to say, after receiving the offer, that their seller won't entertain blind offers. The one today is on the market 120 days and still listed as active. It's a dump of a house. I'm guessing it's on the market because of the LA. When she wrote me back with those instructions I told her to reject the offer and wished her good luck. She replied "thank you". In today's market, 120 days is a LONG time. How would you respond to agents like this? [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Jun 2020 03:55 PM PDT Hey everyone, I have been a little interested in Tom Ferry's coaching program for awhile. Before I pull the trigger I would love to hear others' experiences with it. Has anyone used them for awhile? [link] [comments]

Advice needed - bartender looking for career change amid pandemic Posted: 21 Jun 2020 04:03 PM PDT Good day fellow humans This growing pandemic and potential economic recession has led me to seeking a career change. I've been looking into real estate schools and noticing that the majority in my area are offering the pre-licensing course as online study for a small discount. Is it worth it to take the course online or should I wait it out, see what happens in the next few months for schools potentially reopening? Any help would be greatly appreciated. [link] [comments]
