How big of a difference does a high end lens actually make?

    Hi guys,

I have been blessed to be gifted a sony a7iii camera about 2 years ago. Amazing camera and I enjoy it very much. (I have been a canon user before that)

I started a real estate photography company which has been a very successful journey for me. However at the time my budged was very slim, so I decided to go with Rokinon 14mm autofocus lens.

For past 2 years that was the only lens I have used for all of my real estate work and I was able to create some amazing work using that lens. I usually use manual focus on my shoots with an F8 - F11. Other then having to do a little bit of a lens correction in post, which isnt a big deal for me, I am pretty happy with the result. (Note that I never used a high end lens in the past)

Recently I accidentally dropped my rokinon and I am forced to get a new lens. This is where my struggle begins.

What are the things that higher end lenses will offer that justify a 2k+ price. Will the improvement in picture quality be THAT noticable compared to some cheaper options like sigma 14-24mm or laowa 15mm (rokinon build quality is not good in my opinion so I would not buy that lens again). Considering that I am using these lenses in a completely controled environment(interior real estate photography) I wonder how big of a difference would a high end lens such as 16-35mm g actually make.

If anyone with experience would give me their thoughts I would really appreciate it.

    Thank you
