| Posted: 04 Sep 2020 01:46 PM PDT Hello everyone! I recently got licensed and signed with a brokerage just today. I am keeping my full time job while doing real estate, so I was wondering if anyone was on the same boat. I wanted to update my LinkedIn to include both, but I haven't told my boss or any of my coworkers yet. Now that we're working from home everyday, I'm worried that if I tell my supervisor, she could possibly think I'll slack off from my full time job. A little backstory - I actually just started this full time job back in March. I don't have my supervisor on LinkedIn however I am LinkedIn with her boss (my supervisor doesn't seem to use it anyway). Don't get me wrong, they're both great people and there are no issues with our working relationship but in the end, I do report to them. I already have my work email and our IM app on my phone already so I'll be able to see if anyone needs me right away, however those situations are rare. I'm unsure of how to approach this situation. Any thoughts? TIA :) EDIT: thank you all for your thoughts and experiences! I've thought about telling coworkers as a way to potentially help them buy/sell in the future. Same with LinkedIn, I have over 500+ connections and would love to somehow generate a lead with that (yes I still use LinkedIn, I feel Iike it's somewhat relevant in the corporate world lol). | Facebook Ad Message Conversions Posted: 04 Sep 2020 06:38 PM PDT Why is it when you run a Facebook ad for a listing and you get a message about them being interested, as soon as you ask them for their contact information, they totally stop talking???? Sorry for the incredibly run-on sentence. I don't understand why they want to buy a house right then until you ask for their phone number. Why is that a deal breaker? Zillow leads don't have this problem. Why does Facebook have such crappy leads? [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 04 Sep 2020 08:09 PM PDT So i got numbers that I can call. All I am looking for is a reliable calling software. Saw a lot of negative reviews about ringcentral. Right now using aircall but not satisfied with them. Is there any other software you guys can recommend? [link] [comments] |
