Do you send the clients a hosted gallery or just send them the files? Do you charge them for hosting it?

Hi all, I'm trying to figure out the back end of this photo business and I'm wondering about how you all send off your photos. I had always just done it with dropbox but it seems some clients are used to having photos and videos hosted on gallery sites and then links are sent over to them.

Since I have very limited clientele at the moment I'm trying not to sign up anything subscription. I'd rather use something that could charge me per gallery. I have found a way to use my squarespace website to send clients pages with their photos in a slide show. However it's a little bit annoying to do and it's hosted on my website (although it's not visible on my site). I was wondering do you guys charge for hosting their photos on a website? Do you have any services you might recommend? Or do you all just send the files via dropbox and WeTransfer?

Any better place than Ebay to sell a Matterport Camera?

    Posted: 09 Nov 2020 07:03 AM PST

Long story short, Im getting spinal fusion surgery tomorrow, I wont be able to lift the camera for 3-6 months at the soonest, and I could use the cash to help with bills.

Looking at Ebay, fees are going to be 10% + 3% for paypal, crazy to have to pay 13% in fees to sell a camera for $2500ish. That seems insanely high, but the wonderful people at Matterport suggested selling it there since that is the most active market.

Before I list it on Ebay, is there any other place I should check out first?

Whos planing to join the PFRE online conference, why/why not?

It seems expensive to me and being Australian based the timing won't be ideal? Is it worth it?
