Real Estate Photography: Do you think being able to use an iPhone for Matterport will hurt business? |
| Do you think being able to use an iPhone for Matterport will hurt business? Posted: 06 May 2020 06:33 PM PDT I just made a recent relationship with a larger client and they mentioned they would eventually be interested in Matterport since everything real estate is moving online. I know Matterport allowed much cheaper Ricoh cameras before, but Matterport just released support for iPhones (as old as the 6s). I'm scared to invest in a legitimate camera if the new client gets news of this and they might be tempted to just do it themselves or want this done extremely cheap? How professional would I look if I was using my iPhone to take scans? I know they might not have time to do all the tours themselves, but if I used a phone do you think they would probably just assume I'd do it for cheap? Seems like a sketchy road to purchase one of their better cameras even though it does floorpans and more accurate scanning. What are your thoughts? [link] [comments] |
| Loosening of Covid in home policy restrictions yet? Posted: 06 May 2020 07:12 AM PDT A month or so ago, I implemented a policy of only unoccupied homes and wearing gloves/mask/shoe covers to any shoots. My area is scheduled for May 8th to begin reopening. Some of the counties I work in have blocked showing occupied homes completely, others haven't. Have any of you or your companies begun loosening these? Are you staying in step with the more stringent counties or treating each separately? [link] [comments] |
