Aspiring real estate photographer seeking feedback, thanks!! Posted: 06 Aug 2020 08:44 PM PDT |
Posted: 06 Aug 2020 01:00 PM PDT I have been studying relentlessly on Lynda.com to best prepare for real estate photography. Im feeling pretty confident from a technical standpoint and would like to get the ball rolling. There would already be this chicken/egg problem without COVID, meaning I can't get contracts without a portfolio but I can't efficiently get a portfolio without contracts. I'm wondering if doing a promo where I do a free shoot to whoever wants it would make me look bad? Would it tarnish my reputation before I even have one? I think this is a Covid-proof way to get access to properties, but concerned it may make me look desperate (I am). I would still have them sign a contract, just for licensing purposes. Don't want them thinking they own the photos even though it was a free shoot. Appreciate any suggestions [link] [comments] |
