Real Estate Photography: Recommended Computer for Video and Photo Editing |
Recommended Computer for Video and Photo Editing Posted: 31 May 2020 10:58 AM PDT Hey guys! So, my business has been picking up and my current machine is lacking a bit (to say the least) and slowing me down. I edit video in Premiere Pro and photos in Lightroom and Photoshop. I currently am working on (don't laugh!) a MacBook Air. I'm looking to upgrade to a desktop to speed up my render and load times and to smooth out the experience when working in multiple programs, like from LR to PS and back. I also want to get into After Effects, but can barely run it on my current laptop. I've looked into iMac, but holy crap. Price point. Obviously the iMac Pro would be amazing, and big picture, my goal is to snag one of those bad boys someday, but for now I need something snappier and not so pricey. A few people have recommended a gaming pc. I'm not married to Mac, so I would consider branching out, but I don't want to have to learn a crap ton about settings and whatnot to get the machine to do what I need it to. What PC do you guys use that is pretty badass right out of the box? I found a certified refurbished Mac Pro tower for about $700. 16G ram, dedicated graphics card and 1TB hard drive, (not solid state unfortunately). Would this be good to use, and worth it considering I would have to spring for a decent monitor that is color accurate and 4K? If so, what monitor would you recommend? TLDR- I need to upgrade. MacPro? Gaming PC? What's a good, affordable monitor? What desktop do you recommend? Thanks in advance for your input guys! So glad I found this sub! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 May 2020 08:03 AM PDT I just started to try to use Calendly this morning and currently have it on my website. The problem I'm finding is that you have to check off one service at a time to block off on my calendar. So if an agent wants photos and a video, they have to first go to the photo section & block off a time. Then they have to go to the video section, and select the next available block of time. Maybe Calendly is just a simple scheduling app and I should look for something more robust? Preferably free. Setmore does the multiple service option, but I would have to pay to have it connected to my gmail calendar, which Calendly does for free. So I'm kind of in between right now. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 May 2020 01:30 AM PDT Hi! I love natural light and there's something about it that I want my pics to look airy and white and light but another photographer told me that if a realtor turns on all the lights then I should do that so I shot my first house with all the lights on and I'm editing now and they look so weird and I don't know what about it but I just can't get it to look light if that makes sense. Thoughts? [link] [comments] |
