Real Estate Photography: One AD200 and one Godox speedlight or three to four speedlights? |
| One AD200 and one Godox speedlight or three to four speedlights? Posted: 04 Jun 2020 03:02 PM PDT Pretty basic question, just looking for some more opinions on this. I'm getting into real estate photography and will mostly be shooting half-million-dollar midwestern McMansions, often with high ceiling living rooms like this (not my photos, I'll be taking over for the guy who used to do these). The goal is to shoot flash + ambient and I currently have a Nikon D5300, Nikkor 10-20mm, and a Manfrotto 290 tripod on the way. Total budget was set at $1000 for everything, and with those three things purchased I'm down to $324 left. My two options are to get a handful of Godox/Flashpoint speedlights for about $60 a piece or to get one Flashpoint eVOLV 200/Godox AD200 ($240 on Adorama) and one speedlight. Is there a preffered option? I know the AD200 is going to be about ~2.5 speedlights in power, but if that's the case, shouldn't I just get that many speedlights? It would be about $100 cheaper, but I'm sure more cumbersome. And yes, I know the AD600 would be the best option for such large spaces, however, for now, that's not in the budget. Would love some advice, thanks! [link] [comments] |
