Ryan Serhant Social Media Course... worth it?

    Posted: 28 Nov 2020 05:39 AM PST

I've never bought a course Bc they all seem like bs but I've always liked what Ryan Serhant has done on social media. Has anyone purchased this course or any others?

    Realtor and Navy Reserve?

    Posted: 28 Nov 2020 05:59 AM PST

Are there any realtors here that also service the navy (or other branch) reserves? I'm considering joining the reserves and wondering how it impacted your real estate career, both positively and negatively. Thanks!

    Real estate after army service?

    Posted: 27 Nov 2020 08:28 PM PST

I am in the army right now serving on active duty. I am 21 years old and have 3 years left in the army. I am thinking I would really love to have a career as a real estate agent but I'm also wondering if I should go to college first as it would be paid for by the army. I know no degree is needed but i also feel it would be a waste not to go to college if it's paid for. Any advice for me on what to consider would be great. Thanks Reddit!

Exam is a week away, feeling unprepared. (Michigan)

    Posted: 27 Nov 2020 01:12 PM PST

Hey The exam is a week away and ive been studying for a month but I feel unprepared. What was your go to study method? I know all of the subjects generally, but the state questions / math not so much. Should I take practice exams and just focus on the glossary or should I take each chapter by each chapter and focus on them? Any advice?

Becoming a transaction coordinator in order to break into real estate? TX

    Posted: 27 Nov 2020 03:28 PM PST

After reviewing the new agent mega thread and searching around a bit and I found most of the conversations about my question are dated (2+ years and pre-COIVD) so I hope this is the appropriate place to post this.

I am looking to change careers and have always had my eyes on real estate. The only thing holding me back right now is that I don't have the savings to survive the first few months.

Would it be wise to pass the licensing exam and apply to be a transaction coordinator while I save up money (or ease into it slowly if able) to pursue being an agent full time. I figure by taking this path I would be exposed to the nuts and bolts of the industry while learning from my peers.

From what I have read the path is usually the opposite where agents step down to being a TC.

Lastly, are there any other roles that should have my eye on?

I appreciate any thoughts or feedback.

Anyone fill in some time as a realty photographer?

    Posted: 27 Nov 2020 04:44 PM PST

Thinking of doing both when I start out, then ease out of the photography outside of my own listings once I start kicking RE ass.
