| Tokina 11-16 problems and lens replacement options Posted: 09 Dec 2020 07:38 PM PST My trusty tokina 11-16 lens is having issues. It randomly developed a this terrible problem mid shoot. Basically camera go to infinity, the mechanical stop doesn't stop the motor and the camera tries to force the lens to focus past infinity making a gear grinding noise. Has anyone ever encountered this? It seem the lens side of things is the issue and not the camera (Checked with other lenses). That being said, what would you guys suggest to replace the tokina with.
