Have any of you used Opcity?

    Posted: 04 Dec 2020 07:16 AM PST

I'm a new agent and my brokerage uses Opcity. They said a lot of agents love it but I just don't know what to expect from it. From what I understand, I get the lead, claim it, and then I'm connected with the prospect and Opcity rep in a 3 way call. For those of you who have used it, what is the goal of that initial intro? To set a time for a buyer/seller consultation? Or are all those questions asked in the first call? (I have their info like neighborhood, price range, time frame)

I'm the type to just dive in and figure it out for myself but I don't wanna go in not knowing what to expect when I'd be immediately dealing with a real person and a real transaction

    [PA] PSI Selling Information?

    Posted: 04 Dec 2020 12:30 PM PST

    Hi!

I recently passed my salesperson exam (yay!) and I'm currently employed with a firm (and have been prior to my exam). It's been about 2 weeks since I passed my exam and suddenly today I have gotten an absurd amount of phone calls from firms asking to meet. I spoke to one who told me that this is "practically public record", yet couldn't tell me where she got my information from. Am I to assume that PSI sold my information to these people?

What is the best approach to work with a client that is using a Section 8 voucher?

    Posted: 04 Dec 2020 08:11 AM PST

The title says it all. I keep running into clients that have Section 8 housing and without feeling like I am wasting my time, what would be the best route to take with clients like this?

    Contacting Expired Listings

    Posted: 04 Dec 2020 12:21 AM PST

New agent here. I have a client who has a specific need and there isn't anything available right now. I went back 6 months and found a few expired listings that fit his criteria, but only one of them has an owner phone number.

I can call the previous listing agent, but if like to contact them personally in case my client doesn't want the house but they are willing to list.

Is there a way to get their phone # other than driving by the house and knocking? Or is that the best way to do it?

    Real estate photography

    Posted: 04 Dec 2020 07:16 AM PST

Have any realtors here worked with a real estate photographer.

I am actively trying to improve my knowledge of the trade and I have some questions.

    1. What traits do you expect from a photographer which will cause you to want to do repeat business with them.

    2. Have you noticed a difference between list and sale prices being more favorable for the seller?

    3. Have you noticed a decrease in average time on market.

    4. Does you photographer use flash or HDR?

    5. Which is more favorable in your opinion warm color or cool color tempatures.

    Question for eXp agents!

    Posted: 03 Dec 2020 11:21 PM PST

Hello! I am strongly considering hanging my license with eXp. I'm also in the midst of doing some branding. I need to create a website but before I pay for a website service, does eXp pay for website services or provide any assistance? If not, I don't mind paying for square space, I'd just rather not pay if I don't have to. I have a similar question regarding marketing listings. Does eXp provide any assistance (photography, marketing templates, etc.) to assist or is this all on the agent? Any help is appreciated!

Edit: I'm not looking to be dissuaded from eXp. Please do not respond to my question telling me why I shouldn't go with eXp. Thanks :)
