Video marketing experiences/opinions Posted: 29 Dec 2020 08:32 AM PST Hello Realtors! It is said that video content gives better results and value to customers than just images when marketing on different platforms and promoting properties. I would like to know if there are any members here who have implemented video in their advertising. What kind of videos have you used and how have been the results? If you don't use video, what's the reason? Do you think it does not bring additional value or is there something that prevents you from doing so? If you had the chance to add video content to your advertising, what kind of video would be and what would you expect in return? Looking forward your answers [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Dec 2020 11:24 AM PST Hey guys, I've heard lots of people saying a mentor is a must for someone just becoming a realtor. I was wondering what you look for in a good mentor and where you should be looking for one? Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks all. [link] [comments] |
Anyone done the Agent of Excellence (Disney + Real Estate) training? Posted: 29 Dec 2020 08:19 AM PST Is it worth it? How much did it really affect your business? Bottom line for profits? Did you learn a lot to apply to your business? Is it noticeable in client interactions? Do you get more referrals now? Are there any negatives you can think of? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Dec 2020 11:03 AM PST Hi all--I have posted in the past about team leads and how my team does not provide leads. I got some really great feedback. I'm back again because our team is referral based but also is "knowledge based", meaning the training is why they take the 50% split. I will say my lead is good about sharing knowledge, but 50% still seems like a lot. Can anyone weigh in on this and offer some feedback? Is training worth a 50% split, even if I have to source my own leads? Can I expect to get resources from a broker? I know I will have to work harder to teach myself if I branch out on my own but I feel the pay off would be worth it... This sub has been super helpful and informative, thanks in advance for your feedback! [link] [comments] |

⭕️ Circle Prospecting Numbers?⭕️ Posted: 28 Dec 2020 05:47 PM PST For Realtors who have had success with Circle Prospecting cold calls — what are your numbers like? I'm currently fine tuning my 2021 goals, and I'd like to add Circle Prospecting into my routine. I'd love to know what some people's numbers look like (contacts per day, dials per day, how many contacts for a listing) so I can give myself a number of daily calls/conversations to shoot for. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! I'm going into my third year in the business and would love to get more listings this upcoming year. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 29 Dec 2020 10:18 AM PST So I'm a new realtor and I have a 360 camera that works with matterport. Getting started I was thinking about doing some scans for people I know and other emailing some of the other agents at my brokerage. There are very few people or business in the area that do this right now and they charge $300-500 flat plus the size(% of sqft), or per room. For stating should I offer it really cheap or for free to get a portfolio together? And if anyone has any experience with doing this any struggles or learning curves to look out for? Should I become a real estate agent? Posted: 28 Dec 2020 05:28 PM PST So I'm a 22 year old man currently working a part time job at Walmart. I've never really had a plan for work and 4 years school didn't work out for me. I've been trying to think of new jobs I should try. I would do 1-2 years of school just not 4 where 2 have nothing to do with the job I'm aiming towards. I'm a very nice and outgoing person who's majorly extroverted. My friend dies real estate and she's great at it! I called her and asked if she thought I should do it and she thinks I'd be a good fit. I'm working at Walmart to pay my half of the rent (my brother and I split rent but he's a full time worker) and I want full time but it's not easy to get at Walmart. I was told to look into the real estate classes by my friend and I found 2 options they offer. Either online where I can take my own time to compete it at my own pace (75 hours), a Sat/Sun live-streamed class that meets 9-5 for 4 weeks, or a Mon/Tues/Wed class that meets 6-9:45 for 4 weeks. All end with a hard final exam. I still need to be able to keep my Walmart job and not loose hours because of rent. Should I become a real estate agent? If I should, what class schedule should I go with? [link] [comments] |

Did you Give 30 Day Notice When Switching Brokerages? [IL-Broker] Posted: 28 Dec 2020 07:37 PM PST My sponsoring contract calls for a 30 day notice to terminate, but I can't imagine telling them I am leaving and then have to still work with my managing broker for 30 more days. Ugh [link] [comments] |
Posted: 28 Dec 2020 07:36 PM PST I seem to recall that in MD there is no expiration on an offer made, and likewise the seller has no time obligation to respond to an offer. Am I remembering this right, though? I know if/when a counter is received then the first off becomes null and I know if the buyer puts in writing that they're withdrawing their offer then that nullifies it too but I'm trying to determine what happens if nothing like that occurs and just want to be sure I'm getting these details right. Been awhile since I dealt with a listing agent that is both this unprofessional AND impossible to reach 🙄 Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] |
Anyone using Redx Storm Dialer? Thoughts? Posted: 28 Dec 2020 05:36 PM PST I was using Mojo dialer with redx leads for a while but recently jumped on a Redx cyber Monday deal which included their dialer in the bundle i got. It was too good a deal to pass up. All in with Redx now. Curious for those of you using the Redx storm dialer, what are your thoughts? [link] [comments] |
Anyone have experience with Witly? Posted: 28 Dec 2020 04:08 PM PST Just wondering if anyone has had experience with Grant Wise's marketing program, Witly. (Heard about it on the GSD podcast). Good, bad? TIA [link] [comments] |
What is the difference between "Realty" and "Real Estate" Posted: 28 Dec 2020 03:24 PM PST Hey, about to be certified and just wanted to know what the heck is the difference? I've seen John Realty, John Smith Real Estate, John the Realtor etc and I guess other variations. Does any one mean more than the other? Is there one that implies sales representative vs a broker? If I put John Real Estate, does it imply a team? I don't want to give the wrong idea in either direction. I want to begin branding my posts, so any help or direction would be appreciated. If it helps, I'm Canadian. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
