What are some of the best Cities/States to be a realtor? Posted: 11 Dec 2020 08:21 AM PST I know that really anywhere is good as long as you make the commitment to be good at the craft, but in your opinion, what cities and states would you say are the best places to be a realtor? Considering level of competition, price of homes in the area, types of clients, exc. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 11 Dec 2020 11:13 AM PST Hi! Delete if not allowed but I just passed my exam and am applying for the Wisconsin license. In my past (almost 5 years ago) I had some convictions and just wondering how worried I should be and what they usually don't accept. They're all misdemeanors. Just wondering if I have a lot to be worried about. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
What is an appropriate team split amount? Posted: 11 Dec 2020 10:55 AM PST Just wanted to get an idea as to what team leaders usually split with agents. I'm a new agent, in a new state and working at a 100% commission brokerage. I don't have a large network here, however, I have potential high-end referrals from another state. I just signed on with the brokerage last month and have been taking the time to get everything set up, so that I can be prepared for the new year. Our friend uses an agent that works for the same brokerage as an associate broker and has a small team, just one other agent and a transaction coordinator. She has done around 115 transactions over the last year. The team leader approached me about joining on the team with them. The split offered would start as 85(team leader)/15(me) on leads that were given to me by the team leader and the opposite for leads that are generated by me 85(me)/15(team leader). This percentage would change over time, until we reached a 50/50 split between team leader and I on all leads. I definitely don't feel that 15% is even close to acceptable, however, if I am generating my own leads and not relying on being handed them, I'd benefit by only paying out 15%. What are your thoughts? [link] [comments] |

Can you be a sex worker (stripper) and a realtor at the same time? Posted: 11 Dec 2020 09:21 AM PST I know this is such a weird ass question, but I'm curious... Are there any laws against it or would you not be able to keep a realtor job because of it. Could you keep it low-key enough to manage both? Asking for a friend who proposed this question to me, now I just want answers haha [link] [comments] |
San Antonio realtors, who do you recommend for CPA work Posted: 11 Dec 2020 08:05 AM PST As a new agent I'm hoping to get a few referrals and if you love your CPA, could you tell me why, Also, what qualities and questions should I ask of them before choosing. Thank you so much. [link] [comments] |
Anyone have success or thoughts on homesnap likely to list properties? Posted: 10 Dec 2020 09:58 PM PST Just wondering if anyone has found a good way to take advantage of the likely to list filters on homesnap... they actually seem to be fairly accurate at least in my area. [link] [comments] |
Gift ideas for girlfriend who recently passed state licensing exam? Posted: 10 Dec 2020 10:22 PM PST Title says it all. Basically my gf has just passed her exam to get her realtors license and was wondering if anyone a cute or memorable gift from this accomplishment? Figured it would make a nice Christmas gift. Thoughts? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 10 Dec 2020 08:02 PM PST Hi guys. This post is inspired by another thread, however, bottom line: HOW MANY LEADS DO YOU GET FROM YOUR TEAM? I've been on my team ~3 months and gotten 0 leads. When and if I get a lead, I'll be paying 50%+ commission.... Would love to hear your experience with being on a team and lead generation. Do I need to think about moving on (it's crossed my mind...). For reference, my team lead has had 6 leads the last month and the other 3 agents on the team have had 0. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 10 Dec 2020 08:11 PM PST Thanks to anyone who read and can help, ....i took the 3 main classes with the broker at a century 21 office. Now im just in the process of "studying" for the final exam. The only thing is, my teacher just has us doing 6 different test, 150 questions each. Literally all i do to prepare is go to the office and do 1 of the 6 test. He doesnt meet with us or we do not go over any vocab ect ect ...he wont let us take the final exam until we get 80% and above on each of the 6 test. Maybe this is a good way to prepare us, who am i to judge. My thing is tho. I heard the test we study are outdated to begin with, and i hate to sound ignorant but its boring. Soo i looked into some 2 day crash courses for around $200-$225 , i did my research and these 2 day courses 8 hours each day seem to have a high % of passes. I would chose this option because if i can be ready for my final exam by taking a weekend crash course rather than trying to get the 80% on my teachers test it sounds jus better to me. Now the only thing is even if im ready for my test i cant take it without an exam ID # and approval from my teacher. Any advice on how i can get an exam # ? Can i ask another Realtor? if you have bought a crash course before do you have to do all the 3 classes or you can just do the 2 day 8 hour courses ? .. ik this was long and sloppy, sorry but again thanks if you read it and understood what im trying to ask lol [link] [comments] |
