I can’t find an apartment within 20 miles of me Posted: 09 Mar 2020 02:03 AM PDT I live in southern New Hampshire....Are realtors a thing anymore? I look online for apartments but can't find any and yet when I'm driving I see tons of for rent signs and for sale signs. Are they not listing the properties or do they only get listed to specific websites/apps? [link] [comments]
Drive clients or meet at location? Posted: 08 Mar 2020 10:28 PM PDT I'm still in the process of seeing if being a realtor is a path I want to go down. On that note, do you drive your clients or have them go separately in their own vehicle? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Interesting comment just now from Jim Cramer on CNBC Posted: 09 Mar 2020 06:37 AM PDT He is constantly trying to put positive spin on Covid and the market drop. They were talking about home buying season and he said, I question why anyone would want to go through someone else's house". Interesting if people are thinking that. [link] [comments]
Is booking 1 appraisal a day realistic? Posted: 09 Mar 2020 06:26 AM PDT I've just started a new position as a sales associate and one of my KPI is to book 1 appraisal appointment for my boss a day. The problem is we don't have an established database as he is a fairly new agent and we're pushing ourselves into a new suburb (basically cold calling). Almost 95% of cold calls do not want an appraisal or an updated value of their home. What can I do to meet my KPIs of booking 1 appraisal per day for him? Should I change my scripts? Start door knocking? Offer gifts?? [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Mar 2020 05:55 AM PDT Hi Everyone, Not sure if this is the right sub to post this question, but here ya go. I wanted to know what is the time frame of getting a new mortgage loan after doing a modification? My wife and I want to buy a bigger home in a couple months. Is it possible? [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Mar 2020 04:42 PM PDT Are there any investor/agents on here that work as an agent with other investors? Because I am educated and speak the lingo, they gravitate towards me. Here's where the conflict lies: if I am representing a buyer and we both want the same house/property I am suddenly in a position where the client has to come first (fiduciary duties). I've lost two VERY desirable properties this way. I've stopped working with investor buyers because I see it as a ticking time bomb. No commission would ever outweigh a great personal investment. So, how do you deal with it? [link] [comments]
