Deal fell through - what can we do for our agent?

    Posted: 22 Apr 2020 06:31 PM PDT

We have been passively looking and finally found a place we like. We got connected with our current agent and she has done an amazing job for us. The amount of time and research she has devoted to this deal has been exceptional. Unfortunately, the sellers wouldn't concede on any repairs found during inspection which amounted to too much for us to take on.

What can we do to show our appreciation for our agent?

Edit: Thank you for all of the feedback. We followed up with our agent to tell her how much we appreciated her. We will certainly be providing a solid review and any referrals we have. She sounded very appreciative of that. I understand it's part of the business you are all in but still doesn't seem completely right to me.

Future Realtor with Questions + Tips!

    Posted: 22 Apr 2020 04:52 PM PDT

Hello everyone! I am a 19 year old from the US and I'm passionate on getting into Real Estate. Preferably showcasing luxury housing after I have proper experience and training. I currently work in student housing and have been able to increase my properties lease sales and sell out the complex by 30% from the previous years in the past. The company that I work for has told me multiple times that housing is something I should consider seriously and I definitely want to take this opportunity seriously. I get commissions off my current sales daily; However, I want to move to bigger. Having a personality like mine where I genuinely morph to my client ,or prospect, who's interested in a product makes it so much easier for me to sale and I think student housing has gotten easy for me after 8 months already.

I guess the question that I have is where do I start? Do you have any tips for someone so ambitious to be the best at this? I'm aware that I need to obtain my Real Estate license but I don't know where to apply for one. I have researched but I would love for some feedback from some people who are in this field of work. Whenever I see houses for sale sometimes it let's out a dopamine rush playing a scenario in my head of me successfully closing a deal. Kind of crazy? Maybe haha

Excited to hear from some of you guys!

If you've gotten this far, thanks for taking the time to help me

How have you changed your FB ad copy since Covid19?

    Posted: 22 Apr 2020 12:12 PM PDT

    Hi everyone!

I was just wondering how you (or if you have) changed your adcopy for FB ads? If so - how are you writing the initial title? I want to be sensitive to the situation but I'm unsure how to go about it!

    Thanks!

    Working with Builder

    Posted: 22 Apr 2020 12:02 PM PDT

Has anyone ever sold a lot or tear down to a builder to build a spec home and attached an agreement to be the agent who gets to market and sell the house when it's complete? I'm struggling on the way to write this agreement and also wondering if I would just be told to pound sand. Any input?
