Buying a vehicle vs high mileage lease Posted: 11 Nov 2020 11:36 AM PST Leasing is typically not recommended but for RE photographers who are constantly on the road it seems like a more viable option. What are peoples' thoughts on leasing vs buying? Are there any added tax benefits to leasing other than mileage write-offs? Any insight is welcomed. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 11 Nov 2020 03:32 PM PST Hi all, So I take pictures for realtors on the side. Usually, I do it where I'm sent instructions and then take photos. I just did 1 in person for the first time and the realtor gave no instruction as to what photo they wanted, they said just be creative. I did the photos I always do and just found out they don't like them. So they can't use the photos. Now before I left, I showed them every photo and asked is this ok, so they need anything else. Well I left, and then they don't like it. I offered a reshoot and they said no, so no problem. Now this person is part of a real estate firm that we have a contract with. I'm starting to feel like that I might never get business with this firm again and that I've f'd up really bad. This person is from an officer 45 min away from the local one where we got our contract but I guess they share drone companies with each other. What do you guys think? [link] [comments] |
Anyone use “Flash ambient blend” for interiors? Posted: 11 Nov 2020 11:01 AM PST I'm sure most of you use some sort of lighting setup. But I have always done HDR, and even worse I do my interiors from my Matterport camera in order to fit them both in one appointment. I have an editing work flow that gets the matterport stills close to flash photos. But I have another 1.3 million dollar listing and I don't really want to use my ambient HDR photos. Especially just from my Matterport. Can anyone help recommend a good single light setup that you would use for a flash ambient blend technique? I've watched a lot of videos about it, but can't find any info about the light, remote flash trigger/ remote trigger, and lighting stand setup to use. Edit: I'm using a Sony A7III and have no other lighting equipment besides a flashpoint zoom mini that came with my camera kit. [link] [comments] |
