What’s the Best Marketing Move You’ve Made?

    Aloha from Maui,

Newer photographer here with less than a dozen jobs under my belt, I'm slowly getting referrals but definitely would love to be shooting more often.

So far I've built a very simple website which has yet to be better optimized. Know I'll have to invest in this eventually. I've joined the local realtors association, been attending their weekly meetings, have reached out to be included on the preferred vendor lists at three major brokerages. Have an email campaign that I contracted out set to begin later this week and have even done some very brief cold calls introducing myself, a gallery and a price sheet.

Headed out to some local brokerages today to drop off sales collateral, (cards and price sheets.) Oh and I spent $140 on three magnets for my truck lol

Would love to hear where other professionals found success. My brief experiments with FB, IG and Google Ads didn't produce much, but admittedly, I don't know what I'm doing.

Thank you kindly! Appreciate this community!

Hey guys, this is just a side hustle for me and I'm trying to get better. Feedback is appreciated on my latest project. I can't get the freakin windows right. Can be found here.

My workflow is 5x Bracketed Photos >> HDR via EnFuse >> Align verticals, Sharpen, Shadows up, Highlights down, Some light dodging/burning where needed. Any help is appreciated! Shot on a6400 at iso 320, f9.

Question for small shallow powder rooms - Do you shoot for verticals or tilt the camera down on an angle?

As the question asks, what do you do compositionally when shooting a short shallow powder room? Angle down to fit toilet + sink or shoot for verticals with sink + mirror.
