Real Estate Photography: Insurance - General Liability for Real Estate / Commercial? |
| Insurance - General Liability for Real Estate / Commercial? Posted: 02 Jan 2021 02:36 AM PST Recently invested in my photography and hit that "this would ruin me if stolen or broken", so it's time to insure my hobby-turned-side-hustle. I'm in canada, so it seems Front Row Insurance is my best bet. They've got some pretty great photography-centric packages. General liability tho. That's a pretty pricey add on at like $175. Has anyone in the Real Estate game ever really been saved by it? I can certainly see the one-time-event photographers or wedding photographers springing for this, since if you bum it up and you're getting sued. I just figure most RE people just wont pay or will just want their money back, right? Tell me a horror story of why I should just spend the $175. [link] [comments] |

Great explanation about real estate photography insurance—this is a topic that many beginners tend to overlook. I like how the post highlights the different types of coverage and why they are important for photographers working in clients’ properties.
ReplyDeleteAccidents can happen at any time, whether it’s equipment damage or accidental property issues, and having proper insurance really helps protect both the photographer and the business.
From my experience working with real estate imagery, building a professional workflow is not just about shooting and editing, but also about managing risks and delivering consistent quality.
