Help! how much should I charge???

    Posted: 13 Jan 2021 11:52 AM PST

I'm trying to get my foot in the door with Real Estate photography but idk how much to charge. I'm based in Colorado and I see a variety of pricing options. But I'm new and want to start at alittle discount for those who help me get on my feet and build a portfolio.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Zillow Export Settings for Lightroom

Anyone willing to share their export settings from Lightroom for Zillow. I'm noticing my pictures are losing a significant amount of quality. I will post what I am using once I get to the office.

    Thanks

Young guy starting a RealEstatePhotography business (tips?)

    Posted: 13 Jan 2021 02:28 AM PST

Hey, im a 16 year old teen and been thinking about starting a realestatephotography business for a while now and already almost have everything to start with. Been looking out for a lot of information about this topic overall but just wondering if i could get any new tips too? Every comment is welcomed and also just wondering are people gonna think that im unprofessional because of my age and maybe not even hire me because of that? especially over cold calls because i dont have that deep of a voice so they would assume that i dont got the necessary skills?

Thank you a lot for taking you`re time to answer!

    1. Great explanation of choosing the right lens for real estate photography. I like how the post highlights the importance of wide-angle lenses to capture more space while still keeping the image natural and not overly distorted.

Using the right focal length (around 16–35mm) really helps make interiors look more open and visually appealing, which is crucial for property listings.

From my experience working with real estate imagery, having the right gear is important, but combining it with high-quality editing makes an even bigger difference in the final result. If anyone here is looking to enhance their property photos, you can check out Phephotos for professional real estate photo editing services.
