    Real Estate Photography: Interior Presets?

    Real Estate Photography: Interior Presets?

    Interior Presets?

    Posted: 09 Feb 2021 02:29 PM PST

Hi folks, looking for recommended presets for interior photos, exterior isn't much of a struggle as there are few photos and I don't find I waste much time on them.
But I'm waiting a decent amount of time on the "simple" edits for interior shots, if you've got free presets you've used and enjoy great! If not free the cheaper the better, I mainly shoot bracketed shots, with the odd flash pop when needed.

Still new to the property video game but learning fast, any constructive tips or advice?

    Posted: 09 Feb 2021 09:16 AM PST

I was hired as a property photographer 7months ago and it's transitioned very quickly, due to lockdown, into video and photo package for every property I visit. On average this is 8 a week, in the summer it was a lot more. I took the pressure and made it work with iPhone/DJI gimbal setup. Now I'm using Ronin SC/Sony A7ii/14mm prime and 50/85mm for detail shots (since very recently).

I'd love some pointers or advice to improve my footage.

    Example here > https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLydN9-jtfhgwk7z1j24wI0UIwmcKflad-

Picture profile 7 - slog2 +24 saturation, manual fixed focus, f4-11, iso 1600-4000, over exposed by 2 stops at capture. White balanced manually per room (mostly). edited in premiere.

I find my focus is hard to pinpoint in slog2, I get that it's desaturated but it always seems soft, even with focus zoom on. Trying to follow standard slog rules for capture produce grainy footage (I'm aware it's only 1080, not 4K).

Also I know my colouring and tone balance could be cleaner, it's from working quickly and learning as I go.

    Thanks for your input.

Should I have bought a different light for flambient?

    Posted: 09 Feb 2021 07:54 AM PST

    I just bought both a Godox V860II & a Godox X-pro for sony.

It seems like maybe I should have went with a stronger light but I am unsure. I could have gotten a Godox QS400II or even a Godox MS300 for cheaper. I am new to flash and don't really understand power and everything so I was hoping to learn.
