| New job requiring me to take photos of completed projects Posted: 12 Mar 2021 09:06 PM PST Hi all! I'd love some advice on where to begin. I work at a luxury tile and stone gallery and my boss is wanting me to go take photos of our completed projects (million dollar homes). Professional photographers are usually brought in to take photos as well, but he is wanting me to give it a go in hopes I'll get better. (I'm an interior designer so I like to think I have an eye!) The camera he has is a Nikon D5100 with a wide angle lens, the standard lens it came with, and a focus. I've watched tutorials on aperture, shutter speed, and ISO for the camera, but I feel like there is so much more! I'd really like to achieve the editorial look for panned out photos and highlight the details of the stones we install! Any advice is appreciated! [link] [comments] |
