How many shoots do you perform a week (solo), as I’m starting to burn out. Posted: 17 Apr 2021 08:12 AM PDT I'm trying to gauge how busy we are supposed to be in this industry. Started real estate (uk) shooting 9 months ago. Both photos/video for every property. I'm currently travelling to (1hr each way) my business's local area every day and shooting 2 or three homes each of those days. In a typical week I'll shoot full photo sets and a good video walkthrough tour for around 7-10 properties. Then I edit the photos and send same day (mostly by 7pm). videos on average take a 48hr max turnaround. They're all sent to an online backup drive they can access and to YouTube with full info descriptions. I've shot and published over 200 videos and photos since November last year and I'm starting to feel the pressure waves. I feel this isn't sustainable and I'm burning out. I'm not looking for editors to take on work, so please don't offer. I'm just curious as to how many are expected per week from a solo shooter, or if anyone has ideas on how to tell my employer to expect less. Quality has suffered during busy weeks as I have on average 3-4hrs to work on each set. [link] [comments] |
