| Home inspection of occupied unit Posted: 14 Apr 2020 07:19 AM PDT I'm in property management, but am facing an issue as a tenant. The owner is trying to sell the house, it's under contract and the buyer sent their inspectors over today. I'm in Michigan and there's a 'stay at home' order. At my work we're only responding to true emergencies to enter units. Seeing as we're attempting to keep ourselves safe, do we have a right to refuse the inspection? It doesn't seem essential. | Any agents in New Albany, Indiana? Posted: 14 Apr 2020 10:34 AM PDT I've got a listing referral but don't know anyone in that area. Please DM me if interested. [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 13 Apr 2020 10:07 PM PDT What are your best practices? Here in Utah we've heard stories from our realtor board of sellers testing positive for Covid after they've had showings. It's not common but a few random cases. [link] [comments] |
| Should I put office number on business card? Posted: 13 Apr 2020 04:31 PM PDT Most business cards from Realtors, I see the office number on there. It's often times labelled in a fairly confusing manner, that goes something like:
I was wondering if it would be a good idea to not put my office number on my business card? That way I can keep the card clean by only having my own cell number. [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 13 Apr 2020 06:47 PM PDT (CA) What is a good online Salesperson Real Estate License exam prep course? I am stuck between Kaplan, OnCourse, and The CE Shop. I am looking for something that will not take forever to complete. Any of these faster than the other in the sense of being able to get through it? Thank you. [link] [comments] |
| In Texas how long do I have to apply to take the exams after completing coursework? Posted: 13 Apr 2020 05:09 PM PDT I completed the coursework to obtain my Texas real estate license but got hung up on weird background stuff and didn't pursue it further looking at the long list of requirements to clear it. How long do I have to apply to take my exam after completing coursework? Thinking about getting back into it. I've heard things from 6 months to 10 years so if anyone knows that would be awesome! | Posted: 13 Apr 2020 01:50 PM PDT Hi all I hope you are all staying healthy. I'm studying for my real estate exam and I'm having trouble just going through the fundamentals. There's all this new lingo and concepts. I wonder if the exam is based solely on my state concepts or all Does anyOne have advice on how to retain the information or move through it efficiently? I've spent a lot of time writing notes defining terms and don't know if they've all stuck. Any tips would be helpful! [link] [comments] |
| Agents doing video or virtual- any type of remote promotions... Posted: 13 Apr 2020 01:02 PM PDT What has been working well, and what hasn't? To be clear on what I mean: Video meaning a video walkthrough of the home (not a slideshow of pics with music). Virtual/3D meaning like street view or matterport where the user can navigate the home on their own. Also, zoom consultations and virtual open houses (in whatever form you've made work)- how's that going? [link] [comments] |
