Is now a good time to have a house built?

Long sorry short, were pre-approved, and can put a sizeable amount down on a house. The builders we found are amazing, the house they wanna build us is perfect. Before Covid they had a nice deal where if we spent over 100k in add-ons, they would take 30k off.

As Covid ran wild we waited, a few months have passed, last week they told us no extra incentives would come anytime soon, yesterday they ask us how we feel about the house, we said we were talking to other builders and thinking about it, Suddenly they said they have a new incentive today, the 30k is now 50k off if we spend 100k on add-ons.

So the question is, should I wait? Or take this deal? Is Covid gonna ultimately offer better housing options? Or do you think this is to good to pass up with historic low rates and this new incentive offer?

    Thanks.

Anyone else getting the Unemployment Benefits they extended to 1099 workers? [New York State]

I finally got through after calling over 300 times for the last 3 weeks. Does anyone know if we have to apply for jobs while getting PUA? Does prospecting for real estate leads count as "looking for work" or is it counted as working and we don't get paid.

I asked them when I finally got them on the phone and she didn't know. Told me to check the website. The website is not clear at all. I would like to continue my real estate work when the country opens back up, but if I end up finding a job as per their requirements then what? I don't think what few clients I have left that I am working with still (technically partially unemployed) will stick with me.
