Real Estate Photography: Trolling Zillow |
| Posted: 20 Aug 2020 04:50 PM PDT So every so often I will troll local listings on Zillow, and I get frustrated with some realtors that do not hire professional photographers because some of these high end homes look awful, I think this one realtor does all her own photos and if I were the seller I would fire her, these homes are in excess of $750+ I have sent emails to this one realtor with no response and I see these homes that don't sell that are her listings. | How do I get clients by visiting realtors in person? Posted: 20 Aug 2020 09:08 AM PDT After sending emails to almost all realtors in my area, I only got one positive reply. I'm not surprised and it was only my first step into finding clients, so I decided to visit real estate agencies in person. I did one round already where I visited 10~ offices and left them my business card. I was just coming in, telling them "Hi I'm a real estate photographer and I was wondering if you had some time to talk or I can leave you my business card." However, it didn't feel successful at all (most of them took my card but no one contacted me) and before I go for my next round I want to think of a different approach. I'm a shy person and going to them directly is already out of my comfort zone, so I feel weird potentially being too forward. I understand I need to get over it, but does anyone have any advice of what to say? I'd already feel more confident if I knew what has more potential to work. An additional obstacle is that this is happening in Germany and I only speak English (still learning German), which puts this experience on hard mode. [link] [comments] |
